In April 2003 after working
a website dedicated to grandparents that failed, I decided to launch
Grandparents Magazine™ on my own. Grandparents Magazine is now the number
one destination in Google for Grandparents. We have over 75,000 unique
visitors each month and it's a site that I run completely alone. I really
believed that there should be a fun, free place on the internet for
grandparents. That's why my site exists. I was hoping to turn it into a
real magazine, but lacking the cash I've decided to keep it as it is. I
received my Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University, where I was
the President of the Student Government for the Hotel/Restaurant School. I
am an avid cyclist (I raced both road and mountain for years) and I'm a
devoted and proud mother of three. I also have a big dog named Zeda (she's
a Dogue de Bordeaux.) When I'm not working on my site, writing or creating
other people's sites, I can be found knitting or making jewelry. Ah, if
only the day had about 6 more hours maybe I'd get stuff done!
